Puree Meatballs


  • 1 tablespoon of Muratbey butter
  • 5-6 medium potatoes

For Meatballs:

  • 250 g beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 5-6 sprigs of parsley
  • Black pepper, powdered red chili pepper, cumin, salt (or  2 spoons of meatball mixture)
  • 5-6 tomatoes
  • 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of tomato paste

For Topping:

  • Grated Muratbey Fresh Kashkaval Cheese

Boil and peel the potatoes. Blend Muratbey butter and potatoes together in a blender. Spread the puree in a baking dish. Put the meatball ingredients in a deep bowl, mix them together. Roll into walnut-sized meatballs. Put the olive oil in a pan and fry the meatballs. Add the grated tomatoes on fried meatballs. Add 1 teaspoon tomato paste. Leave the meatballs until the tomatoes are cooked. Spread the meatballs on the puree. Add grated Muratbey Fresh Kashkaval cheese on it and bake in a 200-degree oven.
