SPINACH MASHED POTATOES

Ingredients

  • 1cup of Shredded Muratbey Plus Fresh Kashkaval Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Muratbey butter
  • 3-4 pcs of medium-sized Potatoes
  • Approx. 30 spinach leaves
  • 1 cup of milk
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

For the top:

I use chicken drumsticks on it. Cut 2 chicken drumsticks into cubes and sautéed them in a pan without oil, add some salt and pepper, you may use meat, chicken or fish instead of it. You may prepare a chicken with tomato and pepper.

PREPARATION

Peel and chop the potatoes, add water until covering on it and boil them. When it begins to absorb water add the spinach leaves and mix with a fork, when it absorbs the water completely add milk, butter, shredded Muratbey Plus Kashkaval Cheese, salt and black pepper and cook it on low heat. If you’d like to have a smooth consistency you may blend them all in a blender. Put the thickened mash on a serving plate and shape it with the reverse of the spoon and put the chicken on it, decorate it with finely chopped spinach leaves and serve hot.
