Cheese Mushroom Bread Soufflé


  • 100 gr Muratbey Braided Cheese
  • 100 gr Muratbey Shallal Cheese
  • Half cup of grated Muratbey Plus Fresh Kashkaval Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of Muratbey Butter
  • 8 slices of thinly cut sourdough toast bread (for rectangular pyrex)
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 8 large mushrooms
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pack cream
  • Salt
  • Powdered black pepper

Clean the mushrooms and chop finely, sprinkle a little salt and pepper and mix them all. Melt Muratbey butter in a pan and sauté the mushrooms lightly. Dip 4 slices of toast bread into milk and place on the bottom of a rectangular pyrex. Add half of Muratbey Shallal and Braided cheese on it. Put the sautéed mushrooms on top. Add Muratbey Shallal and Braided cheese on the mushrooms. Dip remaining 4 slices of toast bread in milk and place them on the mushrooms. In a separate cup; mix eggs, cream, grated Muratbey Fresh Kashkaval cheese, a very little salt and pepper and finally pour this mixture to cover the bread. Bake for about 30 minutes until it becomes golden brown on 200 degrees. Serve hot.
